JAKARTA – Not even a month of its launch schedule of 17 and 18 November, Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia automatic seemed quite interested in Indonesian society.

Combined data from the Motor Vehicle Industry of Indonesia (Gaikindo) wholesales automatic Avanza 1.3 G has sold 392 units. While Xenia AT XI 1.3 Daihatsu sold as many as 233 units.

For Avanza, type cc automatic 1.3oo already proved capable of matching the sale of S type automatic Toyota avanza which was more expensive price. Although the first has been launched, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) hanay able to sell 395 units of Avanza S automatic.

As for PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM, the presence of this type of automatic teransmisi seems increasingly leverage the popularity of the Daihatsu Xenia variant previously present only manual MI 1000 cc, 1000 cc manual LI, and 1300 cc manual XI.

Of the total wholesales Xenia during November 2009 as many as 4497 units, type of MI sold ADM manual work as much as 46 units. While as many as 2041 LI units manually, and manually type XI managed to sell 2177 units.

Thus, from January-November period this year, ADM as the holder of Daihatsu car brand has managed to sell 38,709 units of Xenia.

Even Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) is a unit of the seller of Daihatsu in the last month recorded a total sales of 7674 units.
